Installing apps to other drives

Good day everyone,
I just installed Amahi onto a Dell Poweredge 2500 server I have and had a question about installing or setting up the apps to install to other drives.
To give you an overview, I have 6 drives on this machine, one is dedicated to the OS (Ubuntu 12.04 server), and the others are for applications and storage. The drives are as follows
4x33.8GB (One of the 33.8GB drives is the OS drive. )
2x126GB (Specifically for storage/backup purposes)
What I was wondering is if it's possible to install the apps to the other 3 33.8 GB drives. For example, Have MySQL on one, and the apps on another? My line of thought is to keep the OS drive free just for it so it doesn't get bogged down with applications and data, give the applications their own drive so they can run and play all they want. If need be, I can probably re-allocate one of the larger drives for Amahi if there isn't any other solution.
I'm new to Linux administration but I know some commands and feel comfortable doing command line stuff. I may not understand it but I can do it. So any helpful tips, advice or how-to's you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Steve
