Need help getting started

Currently i am running WHS v1 with a 360GB as the OS drive and five 2 TB drives as data. I'm not very fluent with Linux so i want to make sure before i starting installing. I read in the guide that i need to just plug in the 360GB when installing Fedora. Once I'm done i can plug in the other five drives.

So here is what i got so far:

1. create 8GB for Swap
2. Create 20GB for /
3. Create the rest as /home

How would i go about after this and installing the other five drives. Also can i have the landing zone on the 360GB drive? Thanks

You can get away with less swap if you have lots of RAM. How much RAM do you have?

The root "/" partition can also be smaller... around 10GB.

Try this partition layout..
(disk /dev/sda or something)
/ = 10GB
/home = 20GB
/boot = 500MB
swap = 4GB (if you have more than 4GB of RAM)
then have the remainder of the drive mount as /var/hda/files/ (the LZ) if that's how you want it.

So that's your initial install.
Afterwards, you add the extra storage drives as
/var/hda/files/drives/drive01
/var/hda/files/drives/drive02
/var/hda/files/drives/drive03
... etc...
