I managed to install this and have it working when I use the IP localy (not from outside the router) however trying to use the domain home.com (or any other ) to access an Amahi site like username.home.com instead attempts to load a site from outside the router instead of an internal site.

Is there a way to have Amahi send RIP info out on the LAN so the Router can populate it and maybe resolve home.com to mean an internal site? Or possibly another solution other then RIP?

I hope that question was clear if not let me know will try to clarify

Did you disable DHCP on your router, and allow your amahi server handle all DHCP and DNS?
If you have have you rebooted your PC after that?

No I didn't I guess that would do the trick did not occur to me that would be the issue. I will try that and report back
