I am having the same issue, I've been trying for 3 days now and I keep getting a 404 error message. I get the message in Terminal when I run the installer and I get it when I run apt-get update. I get it from Synaptic when I try to update through package manager and I get it if type the url into the command line.

it's not a regular repo yet.

near as i can tell, both this script and the repo file that it pulls are all available and fine.

I managed to get packages after installing Ubuntu Netbook 10.04. Now when I try to activate the install it accepts the code starts to acitvate SQL and then I get this:

I've run apt-get update 5 or 6 times now and it tells me

Failed to fetch file:/root/amahirepo/./Packages.gz File not found

So where do I go from here?

I wonder if the Netbook edition of Ubuntu is in any way different than the standard.

Could you try the standard release?

Tried it, get identical results. It tells me to run apt-get update by hand and that returns the repository not found error.

I have now tried Netbook 10.04, Standard 10.04, Standard 10.10, Standard 11.04 Mint 11, Fedora 14 and the Debian install on all the Ubuntu variations. None of them work. I am giving up. I'll come back in 6 months to see if things have changjed but so far I've spend the better part of 2 days trying to get this to work.

Wrt hda_production.settings - something has definitely gone a little sideways, it has been bug tracked.

Bug 840 was filed in the bug tracker. later there is also a log in bug 843. you can track (and file!) bugs for the ubuntu edition of Amahi at the Ubuntu bug tracker.

I have also been having the same problem. Has a solution been made available yet?
