Help with airport extreme.

Ok my Amahi server works, and good with a linksys router i had lying around. It has ddwrt and works great. The problem is that i hate that router, it overheats and locks up after a few hours. I bought a airport extreme a year ago and love it. I tryed the setup instructions to try to trick it with no luck. If someone could post screenshots on how to trick it or know a work around id appreciate it.

Ok i did try those instructions and still nothing. Im not sure what im doing wrong. I can access the server with no prob just cant get apps to open. If i plug straight into the server they work. Would like some help from someone that has a extreme in play. Thanks.
