This is a bit embarrassing. I am trying to install Amahi and I can't get past the basic Fedora install screen to select the hard drive. Basically, no hard drive options show up in the screen, after the password selection. I have verified the install DVD and I have confirmed that in the POST (bios) you can see the hard drive. But for some reason, it is not showing up after the password selection screen.
My machine is a HP Pavilion 700 with 1 Western Digital 120GB IDE hard drive and two optical drives.
Any suggestions?

Re: Installation - Does not see the drive.
Not sure what could be the problem. Just because the BIOS sees the drive does not mean the OS does.
Recommend you try to boot with a Live Cd for any distro and check if it sees the drive.

Re: Installation - Does not see the drive.
I was able to install a fresh copy of Window XP Service Pack 2 on the same drive. But when I tried it w/ Amahi, it fails to see the drive.
Any thoughts?

Try using a Live CD utility such as GParted to remove all partitions from the drive. Then try installing Fedora 14. That might help.
