Can't add amahi package from repo?

Following the self-install directions, I'm unable get the installer package.

Hello,

The self install method is unsupported. Is there a reason why you did not do the full DVD install as documented in the default instructions.

That would be your best bet to get things up and running.

Because the installer would crash upon adding the Amahi repo during setup (5 tries, same result each time). Indeed, I believed my best bet would to be get up and running which is why I installed sans adding the repo and tried to do it after the fact.

Have you tried the express CD? Check out the Amahi wiki for more info.

Thanks, that was just what the Dr. ordered. Encountered the looping reboot bug but fortunately you guys had the fix wiki'd.

I'm getting the same problem. Can't add the distro from a clean F12 DVD install ( when I try and add the repository it sits there forever saying "retrying download".

trying to add the repository to a newly created f12 distro gives the same "no such file or directory" errors as listed below.

Are we sure the repository is working today?

Last I checked it was. Could it be a connectivity problem on your end?

Tried Headless install CD. Same issue.

Swapped out DSL modem. Same issue

waited a day, and bypassed a local network switch - works now.
