Had issues with install both Express CD and FC 12 DVD

Express CD installation finishes -sort of, then breaks when trying to load for the first time. Comes up with an error and states that it needs to reboot, then gets in a reboot loop. Went into debug mode, tested network, followed all the troubleshooting recommendations, and found that the /var/hda-new-install.log there was an error about uninstalling "setroubleshoot..." that I should uninstall it by hand -which didn't work.
So I turned to the /root/hda-install.log and found a number of errors. Now this was a fresh Express CD headless install; No updates or changes had been made. I stumbled into a forum thread that suggested a downgrade option on an unrelated issue. I ran the suggested: yum downgrade hda-platform command and tada... Amahi installed and booted successfully.
I'm all about supporting development, but the latest "stable" version needs to go back to beta in my opinion. I should add that this was after I had attempted installing FC12 by itself and then the latest "stable" Amahi. That failed with similar results.
<----me. Now, I'm no linux wizard by any stretch, but I've busted knuckles with the penguin for a long time and consider myself somewhat capable. If it takes me this long to work out the kinks, I can't imagine what others are experiencing.
