Fedora 12 - crappy 9800 pro support?

Postby sa3atsky » Sat Nov 13, 2010 6:45 pm

Hi, I just installed Fedora 12 with Amahi, and noticed that all is not well with the video card driver. I have an ATI 9800 pro, apparently it is not detected by Fedora 12; it gives me a basic GUI yet if I change resolutions the mouse pointer disappears and there is sluggishness all around with the video driver

Any help with obtaining a solid 9800 pro driver?

I see two options here. One, install RPMFusion Free and NonFree. See if there is anything in there.

The other option is google and see what you can find.
