troubles with shares

This has been a strange one.
I've installed amahi 5 times in the past with very little for issues (I keep changing machines, hard drive died, etc)
This time the powersupply went and burned the mobo too. So I picked up a used poweredge server.
I installed FC12x64 from cd and added the f12.amahi.org repo during install. First time it rebooted it came up with errors saying that the timezone was set as "greyhole" and was not valid then froze.
wierd.
Tried again, same thing... Tried a third time, same thing... I think a fourth time would have qualified for the definition of insanity thing...
Alright...
Did the FC12 install without the amahi repo, all worked well. Then did the install at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Self-install-existing. It's gone well and the only issue I've really run into is this...
There were no shares listed at http://hda. So I manually created a Movies share and Music share, etc. These shares then showed up in smb://hda just fine from opensuse and ubuntu machines on my home network. But if i navigate to /var/hda/files/ on my server, there all the proper folders exist, but now there is music, Music, movies, Movies, pictures, Pictures, etc....
So, ya..... what happened and how do I fix it?
