Having installed Amahi I don't like the way the dns server defaults to openDNS search and I like to see attached devices on my router.
Is it possible to leave the default settings (ie. the router and hds both acting as dhcp and dns) and let them fight it out? I tried disabling it on hda and had to re-install.

Re: DHCP and DNS
Not a good idea to let them fight it out, Two reasons
* Some pc's will latch on to your router, and you won't be able to use the short names for your hda (HTTP://hda/).
* This will cause issues in conflicting IP address if the HDA and router assign the same ip to different pc's
Check this out from the WIKI http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Changin ... S_provider that might help change the DNS server.
If you wish use your ISP DNS, much faster than Google's or Open DNS.
I would personally turn off your routers DHCP server, and just run with Amahi.
you can view current DHCP leases from the Hda Dashboard
Setup--> networking tab, and under DHCP will show you current leases
I hope this covers it.
