OK, I'm about to give up on this and go back to windows. I think I'll give it one more shot...
I can't get Fedora and Amahi installed at the same time like recommended. If I put the Amahi repository files in the list of stuff to install I get stuck at Ruby.Libs and the install will not go any further.
I can install Fedora 12 by itself and it works just fine. When I go to install all of the Amahi stuff it works fine all the way up to the point where you start the amahi-installer service. The service starts, but it is dead (whatever that means.) I do not know how to fix that, so I can't use that method of install
I've tried the Express CD and it works fine and installs perfectly, but I need a desktop. I can't navigate my way around Linux without a GUI yet. I tried yum -y xorg gnome@desktop or something similar and it finds the best mirror or something then quits.
So is there anything I can try to make the preferred method of installing work?
Thanks for all the help so far!
Still not getting ruby lib...
Re: Still not getting ruby lib...
It's still not working, and this stuff is way to buggy to use in anything that would need any sort of reliability at all. I'm going to upgrade to windows home server, and that's saying something right there

Re: Still not getting ruby lib...
Hello,
We are sorry you experienced difficulty with the Amahi install. Fedora released updates in the past few days that broke the installer. We implemented an emergency fix and released it last night.
You mentioned the Express CD install was successful. The desktop environment can be added quite easily if you are interested. Currently, we are adding the capability to choose whether to install CLI only or Desktop.
We hope you will give Amahi another try. We believe you will find the core functionality and web applications make it a true competitor to Windows Home Server. Some would even say it's better

Re: Still not getting ruby lib...
It really looked better, but I am trying to use it as the main server for a small business. I need it to work!
I'll probably give Amahi another try as a home server, but I can't waste anymore time on it now. I already have windows server installed and working, though I would like to move away from windows as much as possible!
Thanks again for the help, I'm sure Amahi would be great if I could get it to work!
