I think I would like to be able to do a complete re-install of both Fedora 12 and Amahi server if possible to get back to the starting state of my system as various updates which have happened without my input to the fedora core system (turned off auto updates too late!) have messed up some of the Amahi apps.
I've not looked into this so want to know if it is possible to do without losing all the music and movies etc. on the disks. I have the whole install spread across two 500Gb disks. In retrospect, it might have been wise to install the system on a smaller disk and then have the files elsewhere but I wanted to keep it simple.
Any ideas about whether I can do what I want without too much pain?
Thanks
Re-install Fedora and Amahi without losing data - possible?
Re: Re-install Fedora and Amahi without losing data - possible?
Not to worry, I did a complete re-install. Thanks to the Amahi team, it's really pretty painless as long as the data is backed up..
