TorrentFlux b4rt stuck at "Preparing to install"

Postby geirgp » Thu Jan 28, 2010 7:49 am

Hi,

I'm trying to install TorrentFlux-b4rt, but the installer doesn't seem to get past "Preparing to install".

I put a tail on the amachi installer log, this is what happens when I try to install it:

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `initialize': Connection timed out - connect(2) (Errno::ETIMEDOUT) from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `open' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:53:in `timeout' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/timeout.rb:93:in `timeout' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:560:in `connect' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:553:in `do_start' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:542:in `start' from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/net/http.rb:440:in `start' from /var/hda/platform/html/app/models/app.rb:480:in `download' from /var/hda/platform/html/app/models/app.rb:517:in `download_and_check_sha1' from /var/hda/platform/html/app/models/app.rb:421:in `install_webapp' from /var/hda/platform/html/app/models/app.rb:214:in `install_bg' from /var/hda/platform/html/script/install-app:54 ======= app install begin @ Thu Jan 28 15:38:29 +0100 2010 ========== Installing app id x88r6juy1d under /var/hda/platform/html ENV=production

Any thoughts?

looks like the download site is timing out ...

we are getting a rash of those lately! we need to institute a mirror system.

in the mean time we place the download link in our download server. please try it out.

thanks for posting the output of the app installer log, btw!

Thanks, I tried again later and now it worked. I guess a bit of growing pain must be expected, probably a good sign that your severs are busy :)

And thank you for a great product, keep up the good work!

Cheers,

Geir
