need help : reinstallation of Amahi 5.1

for the reinstallation of Amahi 5.1 I followed this procedure after reading stuff on the forum.
Perhaps this will solve my problem after configuring the wrong ip address in the control panel.
I really don't want to reinstall fedora.
All this to change ip address.
I created a new HDA in the online control panel and did the following :
installed neccesary packages
yum -y install ruby ruby-libs ruby-libs ruby-rdoc
gem install --no-ri --no-rdoc sinatra
ran from terminal
su
amahi-installer -f <installation code>
http://hda:2000
rebooted
now of course the users I have created earlier are configured wrong in Amahi.
so lets check that first.
apparently i need to remove secondary users I created earlier to be able to recreate them from the http://hda
thats done.
I figured next would be to reinstall my applications from http://hda
But of course my internet connnection isn't available cause of the ip change.
so first to change the router ip address to match the ip range of the new hda install.
well internet does work from the hda.
when checking ifconfig in the terminal if discover
the ip address hasn't changed.
what now ?
