all icons but amahi installer + its an unrecognized service

Hi,

I've been to the wiki and manual etc and no solution, looking for help. My issue is after a fresh install of fedora 10 (full DVD), with amahi repos, when i reboot and login all icons but the amahi installer are on the desktop. ie: I have the amahi live help link, the amahi hda setup link, the amahi online support page link, the amahi hda dashboard link, but no installer icon.

The instructions say click the installer icon and continue... My alternative was to try the wiki method... check ruby and sinatra are installed, then restart the installer. As root user I updated ruby (not sure what ruby is) but the "gem install ...sinatra" didn't work (gem: no such command), and when I then tried to restart the amahi-installer, terminal replied, "amahi-installer: no such service". (this method is listed under trouble shooting the installation on the wiki.amahi.org)

I am puzzled as everything installed smoothly up to the first login. Any advice on where I may have gone wrong, where to find "sinatra?" or the "amahi-installer service" would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, we have not been supporting fedora 10 since we released Amahi 5.0 over a month ago.

We're on Fedora 12 now. Or was that a typo?

We have tried to document that we support F12 everywhere. If we missed some place please let us know.

Thanks for reply, yes it is fedora 10. Sorry for breaking the rules, totally ignorant of me! I figured out the installer command was for Fed12. I simply put the correct command in terminal (hda-install [myinstallcode]) and poof... Amahi for Fed10 working. :)
