not to beat a dead horse, but could you possibly post the repo for fedora and fedoraupdate from your 32 bit VM so I can double check mine against yours?

getting closer

I changed the repos to point to

dl/fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/updates

and got partial success.

Now I am having trouble running the mariadb and hda-ctl

I now have an error in the mariadb install that says

"warning /var/cache/yum/i386/19/updates/packages/mariadb-libs-5.5.39-1.fc19.i686.rpm: Header V3 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID fb4b18e6: NOKEY

retrieving key from file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-19-i386

GPG key retrieval failed: [Errno 14] curl#37 ' Couldn't open file /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-19-i386"

and a similar problem for the HDA-CTL but with the key error in the php-5.5.20-2.fc19.i386.rpm

Have you tried doing:

Code: Select all

yum clean metadata
since making the changes?

Also might try:

Code: Select all

yum install yum-plugin-fastestmirror

ok, with the gpgcheck disabled, I can install both mariadb and HDA-CTL

Still hangs on the hda install - cannot connect to network.

I ran yum update

yum clean metadata

yum install yum-plugin-fastestmirror

the hda-install is still hanging. I get "Retrieving install code..."

Error: the installer cannot access the network to retrievce your HDAs settings.

Try checking network service:

Code: Select all

systemctl status network

systemctl status network

network.service - LSB: Bring up/down networking
Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network)
Active: inactive (dead)

Sorry, wrong command. Try this one:

Code: Select all

systemctl status NetworkManager
Replace status with restart if it's running.
