SOLVED: can not install Amahi 7 express install dvd

Yes I followed the instructions. I set the used as administrator, verified the time, set the correct HDD as target for the installation, entered the install code and and the end hit restart.

¿I should take out the dvd after? because if not it asks again to install amahi 7.

I do not know what I am missing.

I just entered by dsl modem and I dont see the server in the network devices.

yes I did follow the guide for the express installation.

the only thing I have not done is disable the dhcp server from my dsl modem. i have not found the way to do it.

DSL tech support deactivated the modems DHPC.

Now the Amaho web Control Pannel show the server as running, but when I enter the http://amahi/ I get this message

"We apologize. Amahi is down for maintenance.

While we're working on it, please visit the installation docs and the Amahi wiki.

Yes, cpg is all over it"

one qustion.... If I move the server to another location..... do I have to do anything except turning off the dhcp in the modem?

That should be fine. As long as you are on the same network, all should work.
