Installion docs for newbie

Postby kenmo » Thu Apr 29, 2010 9:39 am

Hi...

I'm a newbie to Amahi and very anixious to give it a try... I've been using Linux (Mepis, Opensuse and presently Mandriva 2009) & Samba at home for a file server for my Windows computers... I do a lot of photo editing, photo manipulation, digital painting and 3D rendering and my apps only support Windows or else my clients would be Linux...

Is there a document for a complete newbie on how to do a proper install and prep of Fedora 12 and how to then install Amahi?

Thanks kindly....

Hello,

Yes there is documentation on doing the install. You will see it when you register at http://www.amahi.org. It is part of the setup, which will guide you along.

Hope that answers your question.

But that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for what things must I do during the Fedora install to prep my system for Amahi.... I can't find anything...

Cheers

Hello,

That's where the instructions are located. See http://www.amahi.org/support/instructions and follow accordingly. This is based on a system with no operating system installed.

I hope this answers your question.
