Amahi installer

can someone please help i have tied several time to install Amahi but the installer des not appear on the desk top after Fedora install completes also when you enter the Amahi repositry detais during the install of Fedora it seems to be strugling to download any info


any help would be appreciated

can you see the files in the repo at http://f12.amahi.org/i386 ?

if so, there may be a proxy or something.

you can try the install by installing fedora first, then use the directions in the self-install page.

hi thanks for the reply i tried this with another fresh install of fedora and i got was could not find rubygems-passenger rpm so i tried again only to get the same error any ideas would be appreciated.

this is a high-priority issue that we're looking at right now.

the workaround at the moment is (as root!):

gem install -v=2.3.4 --no-ri --no-rdoc rails

please report how that works for you.

hi have done this and then i tried to install http://f12.amahi.org/noarch/hda-platfor ... noarch.rpm and after a short while i got this error message ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve:
rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) is needed by hdactl-3.1-4.i386 any ideas anyone.
