Postby anilsnanji » Fri Aug 19, 2016 10:43 am

I am having issues installing the setup.

The first link works fine and downloads but the install part doesnt work. its says "no package hda-ct1 found"
rpm -Uvh http://f23.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm
dnf -y install hda-ctl
hda-install YOUR-INSTALL-CODE

No sure what i'm doing wrong! please help...

You must enter each line one at a time and wait until it completes before entering the next one. Recommend you not copy and paste as sometimes there are hidden characters.

Also ensure you do this as root user.

so i past the first link and went on to the second where it started download packages but came up with an error - "Last metadata expiration check performed etc. - No package hda-ct1 available. Error: unable to find match". I have attached a screenshot for you to have a look.

Try the following as root user:

Code: Select all

dnf clean all
Then do the second install command.

It's hda-ctl and not hda-ct1. The last character is L not 1.
