There is a work around for the SSH issue. Check out the Putty Fatal Error forum post.

Bigfoot as usual thanks for the quick responses. I now can SSH into my server from my windows machine or android phone. I'll spend some time tonight googling the weird memory quirk. We can mark this topic as solved and closed. If I need some help on the memory issue I'll start a new post. Thank again.
