Samba won't start

Postby thomasps » Thu Aug 21, 2014 4:44 pm

I'm double posting this because it appear the networking subgroup does not get many visits and also because this problem relates to a new install:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5538&p=30973#p30973

Briefly, my Samba won't start and I seem to get errros and Googling the error leads nowhere.
I'm not sure what to do

I wish... But at least I did find the culprit: the VNC app breaks my Samba. Installing VNC after a fresh install will immediately break the Samba server. It's unfortunate because it really helps to have VNC on a headless server.
I wonder if there's a manual VNC install...
