Hello
a curious issue has presented itself on my HDA network.
On Monday morning all my 2.4ghz wifi devices were disconnected.
Modem is broadcasting both 2.4 and 5ghz with strong signal strength.
Trying to reconnect the devices to 2.4 resulted in "IP configuration failure" error.
I have rebooted both modem and HDA with no change.
As the HDA is issuing IP addresses (DHCP enabled-modem DHCP disabled), is this a server issue?
I did not make any changes to my network prior to this problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: IP configuration failure
That is odd.
I would recommend you cycle your network.
Turn off everything, then start with the modem/router. Once things are up and running, then turn on the HDA.
Finally, start with one client and then proceed with the rest.
Since there are no updates that would have been installed on the HDA, seems like it might have been something with the modem/router that started the problem.

Re: IP configuration failure
I'll give that a try.
I checked with my internet provider and they did not push out any software updates.
Their recommendation was to reset modem to factory settings.
Also, are there any logs that record IP conflicts/issues on the HDA?

Re: IP configuration failure
Not that I am aware, but could be recorded somewhere.
Might search the internet for dnsmasq logs. That's the DHCP and DNS server.
