I have this exact same setup.

There is really only one way to do this properly. I used to have just fios internet. So bridged modem and used my own pfsense router. Just added tv a few weeks ago. So could no longer do that. Since with modem that wya guide and VOD do not work.

What you have to do. Call verizon support get the ethernet on ONT turned on.
Plug ethernet right into you're router. Get internet working.
Bridge the actiontec. You go into networking.. and select coax (not broadband coax) and ethernet.
Go back to network page on bottom is advanced something.. Is option to create bridge or ppoe. select bridge select ethernet and coax (not broadband coax)
Upon apply/reboot you will not be able to connect to actiontec again.
Plug one of the LAn ports into you're switch (or router) Ignore wan port on actiontec

I had to unplug my receivers and plug back in after this (might be simpler way)
Test VOD on receivers make sure works and guide.

you are all set

If need any help let me know. Can hunt down links to bridge actiontec (directions above very vague)
