Hello, I have been given a new modem/router ADSL2+ & I can no longer access my dashboard within my home network.
What do I need to look for in the modem setup that is 'blocking' access to mt HDA?

The wiki network trouble shooting steps show my router ping address is 192.168.1.1
The router is showing lan address as 192.168.0.1
Ping the router from a comp on the network shows address as 192.168.0.1

Can you change the address on your router?

It appears the address has changed from 1.1 to 0.1 which would pretty much break the HDA networking.

If you can't change it on the router, you will need to make some changes to the HDA:

  • Contact support to have the Gateway IP Address changed for your HDA profile on amahi.org
Hope this helps.

Thanks Big.
I did try to change the gateway address on the HDA which it said was successful, but a ping proved otherwise.
I did find a setting on the modem/router where I can change the LAN address. I'll give it a go on the weekend.
That should work, but if it doesn't I'll contact support as you suggest.
Thanks for your help.

Sounds good.

Please let us know if it works. We can then mark the thread closed.

Router/modem played nice & all is now working as it should, including (surprisingly for an isp modem) my VPN.
Thanks again. :D
