Here is a bit of a challenge.
Is it possible to assign different DNS servers to different iP addresses on my network?
I have a fire tv that i want to use with DNS spoofing and then other machines to use open dns etc. I tried overriding the dns in the network settings but it doesnt work. Hence the post. Also, it seems more elegant to use the Amahi server.
Different DNS for different IPs...
Re: Different DNS for different IPs...
This would need to be manually done on each client. There are 3rd party tools for Windows that you can use for that OS.Is it possible to assign different DNS servers to different iP addresses on my network?
Not possible. The server can only allocate DNS for the network, not by client IP address. Also, it seems more elegant to use the Amahi server.
