I use "Cubase Pro" music production software. Thr help system for Cubase is online and Amahi DNS will not let me in ...
The url when I pres Help is: https://r.steinberg.net/goto/?id=1309&lang=EN&plc=SHM
Wich redirects to: https://steinberg.help/cubase_pro_artis ... ctv=Manual
Wich again gives the page saying;
This site can’t be reached
steinberg.help refused to connect.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
- If I change DHCP to my router in stead of Amahi it works perfect immediately.
- The Interactive Amahi Network Troubleshooter gives me green light all the way through.
- When I think back the problem may have been there before upgrading from 9 to 10.
... any ideas?

SOLVED: Amahi 10 DNS strange behavior
Re: Amahi 10 DNS strange behavior
Thanks for your patience.
After a little debugging, looks like the DNS server used in your HDA (dnsmasq is called), it appears that it treats the x.help as a subdomain, because your HDA has a "help" alias built in. I thought we had gotten rid of these by now, but apparently not.
The solution was to remove the "help" alias. Going to Setup > Network > Aliases and remove the entry called help.
Via command line it can be done with:
