All,
I am not sure where to even begin to track this issue. But whenever I turn on the DNS and point ALL my network including my router at the HDA server, for DNS, our xbox on the same network slows to a crawl and ALL pings time out, we lose connectivity, and it dies out.
What gives? I like this server, I like what I can do with it, but if the DNS is an issue for the xbox, this is a deal breaker for me. AS SOON as I switch back to the router providing DNS, everything is fine again. But, throw in the server and it slows to a crawl.
Any ideas from anyone please??
John

I don't have an Xbox -- but have you renewed it's IP configuration so it points to the HDA?
Is there a way to tcheck it is getting DNS from the HDA?

Yes, the DNS is pulling and pointing to the IP of the HDA server.
