Hi,
I would like to access a NAS (WD My Cloud) from work via the Amahi VPN (IPsec). The NAS is in the same network as my HDA. VPN works, I can access my shares on Amahi. WD provides an interface to access it from outside but it is very limited in functionalities (cannot set up a dropbox, for instance).
Please help me orientate, I have no idea from where to start doing this.
Thanks,
remote access to NAS in same network
Re: remote access to NAS in same network
Have you tried creating a share and point it to the NAS drive? That would make it easily accessible.

Re: remote access to NAS in same network
thanks.
what should I put in the location field? by default it creates it locally (/var/hda/files/"share name")

sorry I meant how do I specify the path, I only know the IP address.
Thanks
Thanks
Re: remote access to NAS in same network
If this is not connected to the HDA, you will need to mount it as a drive. Then once done, you can add the path to the share you built.
The sharing to NAS guidance in the wiki may help.
