Hello,

I am a newbie here. I have Amahi 7 installed and working. I am able to open http://hda/ and open the Amahi Dashboard. I have some application already installed (Logiteh Media Server, Shell in a Box, ...). Now the problem is when I click to open an application, I have the message "Server not found". I used the DHCP Server and DNS Server of Amahi. I have proper setting on my control panel. It seems to me the there is something mix with local DNS. The funny thing is sometime I am able to log on the Application. Also If I long with the address and the port (for example: Logitech Media Server is 192.168.1.10:9000) It works okay. King of strange. Is there a way to test if local DNS work okay?

The HDA seem to be correct but the router is strange... My Router (D-Link DIR655) has the address 192.168.1.1 and it respond to ping. I disable the DHCP and DDNS in the router. On my PC, I did not set any address. I guess everything is automatic... All others Ping commands work fine. Strange? I have a doubt on the address: router.routerssol.rth.com. I am not too sure where the "routerssol" come from. Also on my control panel, my home domain is "rthserver.net". I think i have some kind of mismatch...

That is odd. Recommend you don't ping router, just the IP address of it.

Everything for your clients should be automatic. Recommend you check the DHCP lease for them. Verify that it comes from the HDA IP Address and well as the DNS.
