Yes reverted to the before settings on the server and the router.

Shut the server down and removed network cable, rebooted with out the cable pluged in, once booted, shut it down again plugged network cable back and rebooted and i'm good now.

Just noticed that the hda was inadvertently pointing to my dns service, and so was the router when I tried the router HDCP experiment.. You think it has to do with it?

The DNS service should have no face t on it booting up. Sounds like you may have to leave it as is.

Not much more I can do to assist since resolved your initial problem.
