I'm reluctant to turn-off my Router's DHCP server; as over the years have quite afew hosts configured to get an assigen IP based on it's MAC Address. My router can provide this functionality. I can't seem to find a way to do this with the DHCP server on Amahi ...
Is there a way to do this? perhaps in a configuration file? or is the TAB Static IP Addresses basically the same thing?
edit: nevermind I answered my own question (yes) the Fixed IP will do what I want....

Yes, that is the same feature. It's unfortunate this feature has so many different names -- DHCP reservation, static assignment, fixed IP, static IP, assigned by MAC ...
