The HDA IP address I would think.
Hopefully changing the DNS from the ISP will not render your network without internet. See the HDA needs DNS in order to resolve outside the network. Then it uses that plus it's own DNS to provide to your network.

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA
Here comes the monkey wrench:
After all these changes we have discussed, I have been trying several things. The only one that makes a significant change (ie does not cause internet issues) is shutting down my office computer.
If my office computer is on, all other devices have issues resolving DNS. My wife works from home and she loses connectivity with her VPN (this is how the problem first presented itself)
However if I Shut down the office computer, her connection remains and all other devices continue to surf without incident.
Now I suspect malware or something like it on my office computer, but not sure why the symptoms are as they are.

That is quite interesting. Is this computer serving as some sort of gateway to all other devices in your network?

Re: Off-and-On DNS issues with my HDA
The only "gateway" function I can think of is that it has a USB printer attached that other computers use through my office pc. But they use the office pc's username and password to access the printer. Other than that, I don't see any another gateway type function.

There's got to be something about that machine that's causing the issue. Might not be easy to determine though.
