Hi folks!
Recently I've had to change internet providers. In the process I got a new router and had to move my homenetwork to a new subnet (192.168.1.X->192.168.100.X).
With the help of the wiki and previous forum posts I've managed to get most of the original functionality working again.
The one thing that still does not is the dynamic ip update. The control panel tells me my status is 'Stopped' and I can't use amahiuser1.yourhda.com to connect/ping my machine as it's not updated (ie the IP is old). The hda webfront tells me I have all the servers running apart from DHCP (which I disabled so as not to conflict with the router).
What should I do?
Thanks!

Re: Dynamic IP updating no longer working after update
For future reference - I forgot to edit my /etc/network/interface.... The control panel tells me my status is 'Stopped' and I can't use amahiuser1.yourhda.com to connect/ping my machine as it's not updated ...
I now have dns-nameservers 192.168.100.140 192.168.100.1 which works for me. The first address is the amahi machine and might not be necessary though.
Thanks!

Re: Dynamic IP updating no longer working after update
This one is, yes. However, currently the controlpanel still only lists 192.168.1.X addresses and I cant figure it out why. Not sure if it matters though. So this is resolved?
Re: SOLVED: Dynamic IP updating no longer working after upda
Got it. Yes the control panel will not know you changed subnet for your HDA. The only way to change that is delete the profile, create a new one, and reinstall Amahi.
Not worth the effort as things should still work just fine.

Thanks for making that clear. I'm gonna leave that one alone until the next scheduled platform upgrade. The only way to change that is delete the profile, create a new one, and reinstall Amahi. Not worth the effort as things should still work just fine.
Appreciate your help, cheers!

Re: SOLVED: Dynamic IP updating no longer working after upda
I need to change my router and with it the subset. Other than Amahi profile showing "stopped" my system should run perfectly, right?
So do I understand correctly?
I don't have to change anything else with my system?

The only way to get the amahi.org profile to match your HDA settings is to start over. Is this still an issue or have you moved on?
