I have a 4G mobile modem.
Apple's Airport Time capsule does not support modem modems. Therefore I have my modem attached to a Dovado router, which I bridge to the Airport. This has worked fine for months.
So now I have installed Amahi. The system wants to be the DHCP server. Here is the problem.
When I turn off Apple's DHCP (Bridge mode), I lose my internet access. Not sure why this happens other than it is a IP, DNS, thing.
Is there away to configure this double Bridge? Dovado to Airport to Amahi?
Some other side effects that may or may not be related.
1.I seem to be having trouble reaching my HDA, except on the machine that runs the HDA. This is not good.
2. My Internet connection systems to be dropping a lot.
Bridge Mode - Apple Airport Time Capsule
Re: Bridge Mode - Apple Airport Time Capsule (UPDATE)
Ok, the problem is becoming a bit clearer.
It seems that I can only access plugins like Plex, Transmisssion, etc, only from the computer that is running HDA.
I am guessing this is a consequence of using the Airport as DHCP, but as I said I can't configure it any other way without losing my Internet connection.
Ideas?
Thanks
