Amahi DNS: Mistyped URLs send me to Anything.com

Postby vogateer » Fri Jun 13, 2014 9:37 pm

I have a fresh install of Amahi, and I've currently set up the Amahi box to use Google DNS.

If I mistype a URL, and try to go to a domain that doesn't exist (e.g. gobbeldygookasdafdsa.com), I get a quick message from pipe.vern.com that says the following:
You were looking for "fdsasasldkfjl.com" but that domain is not on this server.
Apache/2.2.9 (Fedora) Server at plus.vern.com Port 80
Shortly after seeing that plain page, I'm sent to Anything.com. This happens when I set the DNS to OpenDNS, Google DNS, and OpenNIC. This doesn't happen when I use my router's DNS, which I've set up to use the same DNS's as Amahi is using. Usually I'll get sent to an OpenDNS page or nothing at all.

This happened on a previous install, and I thought I'd messed something up by installing something else on the system, but this is a clean install.
