Yeah, I used that page, I could pass all of the steps on the network troubleshooting page. However if I run the interactive amahi network troubleshooter, it fails at step 6. I am running amahi 6.

Just thought of another thing, if I my modem is at 192.168.0.1 and my router is at 192.168.1.1 the modem's dhcp should be on while the router's dhcp should be off for amahi correct?

Depends. Does the modem serve as a router as well? If so, might need to turn DHCP off as well on it. You can set it to only provide 1 DHCP lease to your router, make it static if possible.

Multiple DHCP servers can cause issues if not properly set up.

It serves as a dhcp server to assign an ip to the router only. Should I set it up as static?

After bridging my modem and router and resetting the gateway my hda is back to being fully operational! Thanks for helping me bigfoot!
