Hi dear Amahi Lovers....
I use with my Amahi server machine an 1Gbit NIC. (Network Card).
Which command can I use under linux, to determine that it is correctly installed by Fedora 19?
While being on Ubuntu version of Amahi, I had to install some propietary drivers to get the correct settings of my NIC,
in order to show under properties the 1Gbit speed. But there we had GUI....
Now even I do some googling it seems I don't get the right answers
thanx in advance...

You can install TigerVNC to get a GUI in Amahi 7.
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/TigerVNC
That might make it a bit easier to validate.

Not sure what could be the issue. Might wanna retrace your steps. Check log files as well.

Re: determine under Amahi7.1, NIC's speed
because I have decided that this time I will not use any GUI with my AMAHI. I did a fresh install.
I guess you helped me earlier because it triggered me that perhaps the way to do
before any administrative modifications it was not 100% correct. Although while installing amahi7 (as per the directions) , my user was added as administrator.
so I decided to use the
and the go on with modifications
so while in the installation's screenshots i saw that my NIC was acknolowedged as 1GBit so I think Fedora 19, works ok with my NIC
