Hi all,

I am having trouble going to the settings of apps I installed on my HDA. Whenever I click on the App on the Home Screen, I am directed to an URL on the www.

I have gone through the interactive troubleshooter and below is the result:
[root@localhost liusc]# nslookup hda
bash: nslookup: command not found
[root@localhost liusc]# cat /etc/issue
Fedora release 19 (Schrödinger’s Cat)
Kernel \r on an \m (\l)

[root@localhost liusc]# cat /etc/resolv.conf
# Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220
[root@localhost liusc]# ifconfig | grep -A 5 eth0 | grep inet
bash: ifconfig: command not found
[root@localhost liusc]# service bind9 status
Redirecting to /bin/systemctl status bind9.service
bind9.service
Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory)
Active: inactive (dead)

[root@localhost liusc]# cat /etc/bind/named.conf
cat: /etc/bind/named.conf: No such file or directory
[root@localhost liusc]# netstat -an | grep :53
bash: netstat: command not found
[root@localhost liusc]# cat /var/named/dynamic/hda-n2a.conf
cat: /var/named/dynamic/hda-n2a.conf: No such file or directory
[root@localhost liusc]# cat /var/named/dynamic/hda-a2n.conf
cat: /var/named/dynamic/hda-a2n.conf: No such file or directory
[root@localhost liusc]#
Any idea what is wrong and how do I resolve this?

Total noob here, a new convert.

Thank you.
Liu

Did you switch off your Route DHCP? Is this Amahi 7? Did the install complete correctly? I presume you followed the instructions at https://docs.amahi.org.

The router DHCP is switched off, I followed Amahi 7 32bit netinstall, but I think I am reinstalling Amahi 7 64bit.

Will come back if I have any further issues after re-installing.

Thank you.

No problem. Hope you are using the Amahi 7 Express DVD. That is best for 64-bit install. You mentioned using netinstall which might have been part of the issue. We recommend using the full DVD when doing installs other than the Express version.
