I am running a website on amahi and everyone can get to the website but when I try to get the site indexed I get the error: Your site's home page returns a status of 500 (Internal server error) instead of 200 (OK). I have looked in the logs under hda and cannot find any errors like the one given. Can you tell me where I might look next or how I might fix this problem.

Server Error
Re: Server Error
Check the logs directory in the web-app folder for the web site. Also check in /var/logs.

Re: Server Error
Nothing in those two logs that suggest a server error. Any other suggestions?
Re: Server Error
Release/renew IP address for your client machine. That might help. If not, try the network troubleshooter.

Re: Server Error
That trouble shooter showed no errors. However, if I am running a webapp website I am getting strange results. I presume in the httpd/conf.d files there should be a ServerAlias www.example.com statement for the web app. When I remove this line from my .conf file it makes no difference and the website is still found. That means that there has to be some other line somewhere that points to the website. The question is where is that other line located. In the same vein, I have a companion website that has no website webapp and a request is directed to that site so there must be a virtual server statement somewhere that I have missed. Any ideas where it might be?
Re: Server Error
The web page you have set up I presume was created using the web app option. The web page files are in /var/hda/web-apps/webpage/html location, correct?
If so, the modifying the /etc/httpd/conf.d/####-webpage.conf file is necessary for access outside the network. The ServerAlias would need to be set to username.yourhda.com unless you are using a third-party other dynamic DNS. You also need to restart the web server after making any changes to the .conf file.
