I searched an read trough the forum, but did not find a solution.
My hda is up and running.
When opening internet explorer and surfing to http://hda I can see the shares and i can changes the settings and ect.
When I open Explorer I can not find the shares. When triyng to make a backup of the documents I can not reache the shares.
Windows XP keeps telling me that it can not connect to the shares.
Do i need to make changes in the Workgroup?
Setting it up as a domain controller with the server url does not work either.
What am i doing wrong?

you should not add your computer to a domain, just the workgroup should work fine.
make sure you try to connect using \\hda\music or in explorer by clicking Tools > Map network drive > and filling in \\hda\<sharename>
if you use a different username/password on your windows pc than is defined on the server make sure to "connect with a different username".

The problem has been solved.
Stupid me, I had to punch a hole in the firewall.
I'm using Zonealarm and the network was not trusted.
Now my hda is up and running.
