Hi Guys,

I am getting stuck on this section after the install. The installation completes successfully but gets stuck in the infamous reboot loop.

Dropping to command line i can see that eth0 takes a long time to come about 1 minute. After i can successfully ping http://www.google.com i run the command ConfigAmahi which leads to the message Please wait while amahi is configured. This could take a few minutes but i have left it for an hour and nothing has completed.

Any tips on resolving this issue.

Thanks
kirkface8

First of all it would be helpful if you provided more details. For example, is this Fedora 14 Full DVD or Express CD install.

Also, is it possible a hardware compatibility issue exists or the DVD/CD you are using is corrupt? I have seen many cases where the media checksum and/or the burn was bad.

To better assist you we need details!

Sorry for leaving that out.

Its an install from an express CD. I checked the downloaded MD5 and burnt the disc at lowest speed possible. I am installing amahi on a Hp dl380 G3. Once the server is booted I am able to ping the address from another computer on the same network.

The express CD sometimes does not deliver the best results. Can you try the Full DVD install? Seems like maybe a hardware drive issue. Maybe check the install log in the root folder.
