hello,
I'm kinda new to the whole linux thing, but looking forward to learn more. I'm having trouble to get the DHCP running from my HDA. I disabled the router's DHCP but can not bring the HDA homepage up. When I type
http://hda I am redirected to
www.hda.com
. Can someone walk me through?
thanks

Try this, though we'd like to figure out why this happened to begin with.
It would be great if you sent to the support email the following two files:
hda-install.log and
install.log, both residing in
/root.
The command to try is:
Then try
http://hda

thanks for the quick reply. I've tried the command you provided, but unfortunately it didn't work. The interesting thing is that I am actually able to bring up the
http://hda from my windows computer connected to the network, but not from the server it self, so it cant be an DNS issue.
What is the email address to sent the files to?

It should be in the same dir you ran hda-install.

ok, i figured it out and submitted the files as requested. The hda-install log file was located under the default user as in Fedora 10 you are required to add at least one user while installing.
it is so frustrating... under windows I am quite confident on the server and user side, but under linux i feel like brainless... everything just takes me hours to figure out
