I've had relatively few problems with Amahi for the last two years, even as a noob.
Recently I switched from road runner to at&t uverse for more reliable service. The problem is that uverse brings its own router that apparently no longer lets the user disable the DHCP. My setup goes from the Uverse -> switch -> Amahi box -> Netgear N600 -> xbox360, Wii, bluray, Denon AVR-4306,etc, and 3 computers. If I don't enable the DHCP on my Netgear the Amahi box loses connectivity.
I didn't have this problem until the uverse installation.
I've read the few posts from the last few years concerning uverse and Amahi, and there doesn't seem to be any real answers posted yet. I'm wondering if anyone has had luck enabling the DHCP on Amahi and disabling the DHCP on their router and yet bypassing the uverse problem? I am hoping that of the thousands of Amahi users that someone has run into this problem and solved it.
Thanks!
