Preparing/testing Amahi in LAN with other main gtw, dns, dhcp.

Hi,

I'm testing/evaluating Amahi platform for my friends that would like to have simple home network servers... But I tried to configure system for their LAN enviroments (where Amahi will be 192.168.0.1 and main dns, dhcp server). But now, I'm setting Amahi up in my LAN environment, that already has LMCE as main dns, dhcp server and has main 192.168.0.1 ip. I've setup Amahi in dashboard to some other fixed ip (192.168.0.211), but I got quite a mess now. http://hda works and I get dashboard. But I cannot get any installed applications (it goes to external something.home.com site and tries to give me a loan, etc...). I guess this is a dns mess...

I'd kindly ask for advice with this question :
- in current mess, when all apps are redirecting me on external *.home.com page, can I access somehow installed apps with some other URL or trick ?
- what would be the easiest/correct way to prepare Amahi for being the main server in future use, but before that have it in my local lan as slave PC without dhcp, set things up, and then do some neede changes and get it into his new environment ?
- is it smart to have two profiles (one for my local lan and other for "real" LAN, where HDA will be main chief) ?
- I saw somewhere mentioned that for changing code of profile can be done just by running installer again and entering new code - will I loose all settings and apps if I do that ?

Thanks in advance,
regards,
Bulek.
