Using the Network Troubleshooter, I failed step 9 - HDA used

Postby BoddieBishop » Wed Dec 08, 2010 10:04 pm

I am having troubles accessing my shares on my hda server. when I click on the shares in my network a user name/password box appears. I have entered every un/pw I could think of and tried mapping the drive (switching users on drive map utility) and still can't access my shares. I ran the network troubleshooter and got this error and it told me to post it here. I also must state that I am completely ignorant to Linux language and know very little about networking and servers.....but it facinates me and I want to learn.

Here is the error:

Using the Network Troubleshooter, I failed step 9 - HDA used as DNS on clients?. Here's a paste to help troubleshoot: http://amahi.pastebin.com/aRGf60th

Have you released/refreshed IP addresses on your client? See http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/RenewIP for more info.

Yes I have done that. I have also set my DNS to my HDA IP address as the wiki recommends.
