This is a relatively new install. I have tried both http://calendar and http://calendar.mydomain
Both bring up the Apache test page.
I can ping calendar.mydomain The address given is that of my server, so the alias is in place, but no calendar app.
Is it that now with all the choices for calendar apps there is no default and you need to install something? If so please fix the wiki:

Can't access calendar
Re: Can't access calendar
There is no calendar in place by default. You must publish one, then you can access it. Check out the page in your HDA http://hda/setup?sub=calendars&tab=setting. Once you create a calendar and publish it to the HDA, you should see it with the url mentioned.
The wiki tells you that a calendar must be created and published. Maybe it is not clear enough. If you have any suggestions on how to word it better, please feel free to make the change. We rely on users to help us make things better, especially in the wiki.

Re: Can't access calendar
Oh, NOW I understand....
It just publishes/shares calendars made elsewhere.
Got it, and now I have to get the calendaring software.
Up until now, we used a simple calendaring printing program to print offf a monthly calendar and post it for all to see....
