Setting up an active directory

I'm not sure about setting up Active Directory itself, that's a Microsoft technology...

Instead you might want to look at 389 Directory, which is the Directory Server formerly known as Fedora Directory Server.

If the Amahi guys want to look at putting in an LDAP directory, that's the one I'd recommend, simply because it's management tools, ability to scale up to RHDS and its AD connectors are huge selling points over OpenLDAP.
