Dynamic DNS issues

Well so far I really like Amahi but I can't get it to do one thing that I really want it to do. And that's the ability to access the Adito web frontend from the outside world. I want to do this because it seems that all of the networks that I want to remotely connect from use the 192.168.1.x schema internally and you can't VPN from that. Using this front end is the most secure way I know of to access my files externally. If there is another option, please point me to it however. The problem currently lies in that no matter what method I try I simply can't access my hda via the normal hdausername.yourhda.com . I've opened ports 80 and 443 on my router and pointed them to my HDA with no luck. Any attempt to connect to the HDA times out. I've tried the instructions found in the hosting a website section of the wiki without any luck. I've gone to the Server Configuration section of Adito and added hdausername.yourhda.com to the valid hostnames for the application. So far nothing I've tried has works. On my internal network it works just fine. I can surf to it by going to http://hda or one of my other apps using the short name which is great. When I login to my control panel on amahi.org it shows that my HDA is up and running which I believe means it is communicating Dynamic DNS data as well. This is one of the main reasons that I installed Amahi was for the ease of use of outside access so any help would be greatly appreciated.
